What you should know about link building
This could make or break your rankings. Executing this tactfully has been proven to do wonders for Search Engine Optimization while spamming and other ill-advised methods have proven the opposite.
What is the best way to build links?
There is only one way to do this and it's called Organic Link Building. This is the opposite of spamming since this method involves posting links in such a way that it naturally blends with the content. Relevance is the key here, for as long as it is relevant it's good for posting. Below are a few tips on how this strategy is implemented.
Where do I post my links?
This would depend greatly on the publisher's niche and preference. Here's a list of common places where links can be posted:
Linked-in
Tumblr
Blogspot
Weebly
Delicious
Stumble Upon
Just to name a few.
What are Link Wheels?
This is an Off-page optimization strategy that involves the building of natural links around a target site. The theory is that, the more posts you have linking back to your site, the more credible it is, making it rank better in search engines. Also, since credibility is also a huge factor, keep in mind that the pages selected for distribution are in good standing such as the examples listed above.
