Keyword Optimization Tips

Coming up with suitable keywords has long been the topic of many SEO discussions. You'll come across many write-ups that suggest fancy implementation strategies that would leave you groping in  the dark with even more questions. Before we even get to the meat of this topic...

What does keyword mean anyway?

SEO keywords are words or a combination of words that best describes what the site is all about.  Since search engines are in it's very essence, nothing more than online libraries that index  everything in it based on contextual value and relevance. Put simply, they all get indexed but  what tips the balance on how a particular site ranks is how engaging it is, for visitors to keep  coming back and for them to refer your content to others (thus the principle behind backlinking).

So what's the best way to optimize keywords?

Although there are many up to date techniques that really do work, I prefer to keep things simple  by writing about things that genuinely interests me. This way the all the discriptive words come  out naturally and in bunches. It becomes engaging because you are able to write with authority on  the subject and post updates frequently just because you enjoy what you're doing, covering the 3  key elements of a good website which is:

1. It has unique content
2. It has descriptive keywords
3. People like it
